The Beauty Assembly is a co-working nail salon for beauty therapists in Leeds city centre.
Founded in 2013 by Abra, The Beauty Assembly was created to complete the Granary Wharf community. Originally known as Pastille, we rebranded in 2022 and introduced a new, empowering business model that puts our beauty therapists first.
Today, we operate as a freelance-focused salon, giving our therapists the freedom to run their own businesses without the burden of long-term leases or overwhelming overheads. We’re proud champions of women in business — every treatment fee goes directly into the therapist’s pocket, allowing them to choose when and how they work.

Our salon is eco-conscious and cruelty-free, offering exceptional manicures and pedicures using only the very best products. We are proud to stock The Gel Bottle Inc and Glossify, stocking over 300 stunning shades, including TGB’s renowned Builder in a Bottle (BIAB) range and Glossify’s Naturabuild. We also offer HEMA-free options for clients with gel sensitivities.
For brows, we use premium products from HD Brows, including their innovative BrowSculpt range for our Brow Lamination treatments.
At The Beauty Assembly, beauty is more than a service — it’s community, empowerment, and exceptional care. We are incredibly proud that over 90% of our clients are returning customers. Our salon is more than just a place to have your nails or brows done — it’s a space where friendships are formed, conversations flow, and everyone feels genuinely welcome. The loyalty and support from our community and the people of Leeds is something we never take for granted, and it’s truly wonderful to witness so many familiar faces walking back through our doors.
